From College Chaos to Canine Connection – Our Story

Dogs have always been my passion—but it wasn’t until college that my real journey began. That’s when Jasper came into my life: a sweet, misunderstood pup with more behavioral challenges than I knew what to do with. I quickly realized love alone wasn’t enough—he needed guidance, structure, and someone willing to truly understand his world. So I dove headfirst into learning everything I could about dog behavior, communication, and training.

As Jasper and I grew together, my mindset shifted. Training wasn’t just about obedience—it was about building a deeper, trusting relationship. That spark led me to Starmark Academy, where I learned about and developed a balanced approach rooted in communication, confidence, and clarity.

Through it all, Jasper remained by my side—and soon we were joined by Zara, my second canine partner. Confident, driven, and eager to work, Zara helped me grow even more as a trainer. Today, both Jasper and Zara play a hands-on role in sessions, helping dogs of all kinds build their confidence and find calm through social learning and real-world exposure.
